Surry's Design Lab: How We Made our MakerSpace
Friday October 11, 2024 9:10am - 10:10am EDT
The Design Lab started at Surry Elementary School in the fall of 2022. We had an empty room with absolutely nothing in it. Today we have a fully functioning space, programming for all PK-8 students, and a curriculum. We are also a recognized Fab Lab - one of just a few in Maine, but one of about 2,000 around the world. (Our website is: https://www.surryschool.org/designlab) Come hear how we do it, ask questions, and maybe take home an interesting approach or two.
