Real talk - tech toys are expensive, especially when everyone wants their own! In our district, with a middle school, high school, and 6 elementary schools, we were looking for a deployable solution option that could empower any classroom to be creators and innovators. In this session, we will discuss the tools we evaluated and selected to submit our proposal of the Teach with Tech Grant, our goals for the program, coaching support, and how we plan to manage our resources.
Come join MLTI Ambassadors Ashely Carroll and AJ Rog, along with the DOE CS Specialist Allison Braley for our session that will show you how to embrace coding tools for student to show their knowledge, no matter what class they are in. Using Indie and BeeBots, Google CSFirst, and other coding tools to give students a creative outlet to what they are learning in your class. Go beyond Google Slides, Canva, and Google docs as a way to show understanding. Give your students the chance to show their learning by creating games, adventures, interactive stories, and much more.
